FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Plan Your Security Assessment with Clarity.

What is the difference between vulnerability assessment and penetration testing?

A vulnerability assessment identifies and reviews potential weaknesses. Penetration testing validates selected weaknesses through authorized testing. The permitted depth, techniques and objectives are agreed before work begins.

Can Educora assess our web application or cloud environment?

You can request an application, API or cloud assessment. We first review the assets, ownership, technology, access requirements and delivery capability to define an appropriate engagement scope.

Will security testing affect production systems?

Testing can affect system behavior. Suitable environments, testing windows, rate limits, exclusions and stopping conditions should be agreed in advance. Zero operational risk cannot be promised.

What information is needed to begin?

Start with your organization’s contact details, the service area, a high-level description of the environment and the business objective. Detailed architecture, credentials and sensitive findings should be exchanged only through an agreed private process.

What does the assessment report include?

The report follows the agreed scope and may include an executive summary, technical findings, supporting evidence, risk prioritization and remediation recommendations. Coverage and format are defined in the proposal.

Do you offer retesting?

Retesting or follow-up validation can be discussed and must be explicitly included in the engagement or agreed separately. It is not assumed to be included in every assessment.

Can multiple cybersecurity assessments be combined?

Related assessments can be discussed as one engagement. Each component needs clear assets, authorization, testing boundaries, deliverables and confirmation of delivery capability.

How do we request a proposal?

Use the assessment enquiry form or contact Educora’s team. Share a high-level requirement so that scope, access, timing and appropriate next steps can be discussed.
